Being 50-something I was beginning to feel some aches and stiffness although I have always been pretty active... that's what first took me to yoga class. I was pretty regular with my attendance making gradual progress with my flexibility and balance. I enjoyed Cheryl's class too and made some new friends. I found that I could come in after a hard day at work, many times with tension headache that would be totally relieved by my yoga practice. But what has made a true yoga believer of me was my recent absence from class. My life got pretty busy this summer and I decided I needed to take a break from my yoga classes that lasted about 3 months. My body began to let me know I needed to get back at it. Lacey has been able to identify my specific needs at each visit, making adjustments to her routine in order to provide exactly what my body needs. She has greatly improved my quality of life. This is a new experience for me and Jan is wonderful at explaining everything and answering my questions. She also puts you at ease right away. The first thing I noticed was my TMJ improved so much; I have been able to sleep through the night consistently. Then I became aware of a lower stress level, resulting in a much calmer feeling within. I didn't know what to expect after the Reiki session, and I was curious, but to my surprise, my sense of smell has returned, and I hadn't even thought about that. I am very pleased with my results and look forward to each session with Jan. This has been an awesome experience for me. With its wonderful, soothing atmosphere the setting is perfect for a "day out" to relieve stress and relax. Everyone is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I personally had the Detox Foot Bath, which has the chair massage included, and believe me this was a wonderful hour spent. Every woman needs a break and this is the perfect place to take one.
